Twitter provided me with another great site only this one is incredible. "Lenva" is in New Zealand and created a wiki called Web 2.0: Cool Tools for Schools. It is FILLED with all the web 2.0 tools you might already know and more that you've yet to see.
What an invaluable web site! I'm thinking of making it my browser's home page so I can investigate one new tool every day. I found Dvolver.com at this site and played with it already (see previous post) so I've learned a new tool already today.
Take a look at Web 2.0: Cool Tools for Schools. I know you'll be glad you did.
Welcome to Techy Nana's Techy Tips. This site is an eclectic mix of discoveries, thoughts, and experiences as I travel in the ever changing world of educational technology. You'll find "Cool Tools" and "Tips & Tricks" as well as sites and movies that aid in the quest for technology integration ~ no matter what the age! Living and teaching in Glendale, California, this site is for users in my school district and elsewhere in cyberspace.

Making movies at Dvolver.com
Okay, this is the cutest movie making site I've seen for a long time. You choose the type of movie, background (including sky), and an avatar. Next, type your text (100 character maximum), choose your music, and click finish. With a maximum of 3 scenes it is, of course, a short movie. It's also good practice at keeping text brief but meaningful and what fun for your students!
Now go create your own at Dvolver.com!
